Olde Towne Carolers – highlights from our 19th season!

Friends, fans, and followers;

2023 was OTC’s 19th season!

It’s crazy to stop and think about how fast time flies.  It doesn’t FEEL like that long ago, but when I think that 2024 will be the 20th SEASON for Olde Towne Carolers, I’m honestly blown away.  A part of me still feels like that young soprano who loved Christmas music and wanted to make some gigs happen back in 2005.  But here we are, in 10 states, with 160 singers on the roster, getting ready to celebrate a milestone season in 2024.  (I know most folks feel like Christmas is light years away, but I promise you, it’s just around the corner for me!)

But before we get to the upcoming season, let’s look back on our wonderful 19th season:
Caroling Season 2023!

We had some great gigs again this year, and some wonderful new and returning clients.

We started the season early on with our DC/Baltimore singers performing in a regional Giant Food Stores commercial!  They specifically wanted singers from the DC/Baltimore area, and we were happy to oblige!  (Hoping the video attaches!)

We kicked off the live performance season singing at Christkindlmarkt in Bethlehem, PA.

We had another wonderful season singing at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA.  You could see us there most evenings between Black Friday and New Year’s Eve.  Longwood Gardens is always a favorite for all of our singers; not only is the venue spectacularly beautiful, the clients that visits Longwood are amazing audiences.  We not only sing well-known hits at Longwood, we also pull out our gorgeous obscure repertoire when singing there, as the listeners are so wonderfully discerning.

Here are a few photo hightlights from our season at Longwood Gardens:

It’s always our pleasure to return to Channel 69 WFMZ to sing live for the morning TV viewers!

Our Boston carolers sang at the premier of the new Willy Wonka movie!

Some of us made the local paper!

We also added a new, exciting client this season: Yuletide at Devon.  The organizers of this festival turned the Devon Horseshow grounds into a Winter Wonderland!  It was our pleasure to help bring intimate festive music to the visitors there.

You could catch us every Saturday at Skytop Lodge in the Poconos!

Much fun was had by our singers and audiences alike, while performing at the Easton Winter Village.

We returned to the Promenade Shops in Center Valley, PA to spread holiday cheer to the shoppers there:

And it’s always a pleasure for me to sing at the tree lighting in my own hometown!

Another new client was the Lederach Piano Bar.  We brought our holiday cheer to them on three different occasions throughout the holiday.  And the food and atmosphere was so intriguing that after I sang there, I returned as a guest/diner myself!  (Their food is seriously good!  Be sure to check them out!)

Our NYC singers entertained many a happy listener at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

We had new and returning clients for our Boston area singers!  Here are a few photos highlights.

Our Chicago singers entertained everyone from employees at Google to private holiday revelers.

Our DC/Baltimore singers spread cheer at many private and public parties.

Our Piano/Voice Duo of Terry Musselman and Jennifer Graf-Domijan shared their crossover styles with many a grateful audience.

Our Singing Carol-Grams are a client favorite – for those just wanting a few songs to send as a gift or to snazz up their own party!  We started offering Carol Grams before anyone else, and now they’re all the rage!

And our core singers in the Philly/NYC corridor brought amazing memories to so many clients.

We’re looking forward to sharing our milestone next season with all of you!

Don’t forget to book early in 2024 – there are only FOUR weekends this year between Thanksgiving and Christmas (as opposed to five weekends last year.)  Everyone will be vying for those weekend dates!

We can’t wait to sing for you again!

Jennifer
